“Kruisbeen op die Mat” is a compilation of prose, capturing pieces of life, love, hurt and growing up, which is often part of a teenage girl’s journey into womanhood. It enforces that the turmoil of emotions and fears are just as real as it seems at the time.

The stories are loosely based on personal experience and on the lives of the friends I grew up with.
